Keeper given chance to impress in League Two

West Brom goalkeeper Luke Daniels has joined League Two side Shrewsbury on a four-week loan deal. The Shrews will have the opportunity to prolong the move should the youngster impress Paul Simpson. The 20-year-old joined the Baggies in 2006 after being released by Manchester United, but has struggled to break into the first-team fold at the Hawthorns. His opportunities at the Premier League side were further limited when Tony Mowbray signed England international Scott Carson this summer. The England Under 19 international played two games for SPL outfit Motherwell during a loan spell last season, impressing during his time in Scotland. He will now be hoping to put pressure on Glyn Garner and Scott Bevan for the No. 1 jersey at New Meadow.
