Martin Olsson admits having a number of familiar faces in the Swansea dressing room has helped him adjust to life at the Liberty Stadium.
Olsson, joined Swansea from Sky Bet Championship side Norwich City in January, and has previously worked with boss Paul Clement, when the Englishman was a coach at Blackburn.
The Sweden international has also been reunited with Dutch midfielder Leroy Fer, who spent a season at Norwich before joining QPR following the Canaries' relegation to the Championship in 2014.
"I have settled well," Olsson said.
"I knew a few of the boys before I got here. I knew the manager from before, too, so it has been good to get to know everyone.
Olsson scored his first goal for the Welsh club in Sunday's 2-0 home win over relegation rivals Leicester City.
"Of course when you come in during January it makes it a little bit more difficult as you do not have much time to adjust before getting straight into it," he added.
"But as soon as I got a few more games under my belt it has got better, and I hope it can keep getting better. My fitness was good but a few more games gets you used to the intensity."
Swansea are 15th in the table, four points above the relegation zone after 25 games. They travel to Stamford Bridge to face Premier league leaders Chelsea on February 25.
