Moore swoops for Doncaster midfielder

Doncaster Rovers midfielder Mark Wilson has joined Tranmere Rovers on a one-month loan deal. The former Manchester United and Middlesbrough man has been loaned out despite making seven Championship starts for Doncaster this season. Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore believes he has a quality signing on his hands after Wilson helped the South Yorkshire side to promotion last term.

Quality midfielder

"Mark is a quality midfielder. He's a good passer of the ball who can play either the holding or attacking roles," Moore told Tranmere's official website. "He played more than 30 games last season in a side that got promoted and he has been involved this season too and I'm really pleased to have him here. "I'd like to thank Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll for allowing him to join us for a month."
