Aberdeen have completed the signing of striker Tommy Wright from Darlington.
The two clubs agreed a fee, believed to be in the region of £100,000, for the forward some time ago, but the transfer was held up due to injury.
Wright suffered a knee problem in the first leg of Darlington's play-off semi-final defeat at the hands of Rochdale in May, but has now recovered sufficiently for the move to proceed.
The former Leicester trainee has signed a three-year deal at Pittodrie and has linked up with his new team-mates in training.
He is not expected to feature in the opening SPL fixture at home against Inverness Caley Thistle on Saturday.

Darlo boss Dave Penney told the club's
official website: "Darlington Football Club couldn't stand in Tommy's way, this is a great opportunity for him."
Penney has moved quickly to replace Wright by bringing in Republic of Ireland youth international Billy Clarke on a month's loan from Ipswich.
The Quakers have boosted their squad further by also completing the permanent signing of 28-year old midfielder Robin Hulbert from League Two rivals Port Vale for an undisclosed fee.
