Northampton Town's Billy Waters was made to sing as an initiation at his new club during pre-season preparations in Spain

Footballers are not usually known for their singing skills but check out Northampton Town signing Billy Waters in his initiation ceremony in front of his new Cobblers colleagues during pre-season in Spain.

Justin Edinburgh won the race to sign highly-rated striker Waters from Cheltenham for an undisclosed fee last month after he won the Robins' player of the season and was their top scorer of the 2016/17 season.

In his two years at Whaddon Road, after joining from Crewe, Waters found the net 27 times in 69 starts and 24 substitute appearances, firstly helping the club to win promotion back to the Football League and then helping to secure Cheltenham's League Two status last term.

Waters, who signed a three-year Cobblers deal, chose Toploader's 'Dancing in the Moonlight' to impress his new team-mates at the Oliva Nova complex in south-eastern Spain.
