Huddersfield head coach David Wagner believes his team's home form will shape the Terriers' season.
The side have made a promising start to their first campaign in the Premier League and are 12th in the table ahead of Saturday's match at the John Smith's Stadium against West Brom.
They have lost just once at home so far, a 4-0 defeat against Tottenham in September, and they beat Manchester United 2-1 in the last match they hosted.
Wagner is convinced their destiny will be decided at home. "Yeah, this is for sure very important," he said, "especially if you have such a home crowd and home support like we have, such an atmosphere, such an energy which you get from the stands which helps you.
"This means the opportunity to get results at home with this crowd in your back makes it easier, even if it is never easy in the Premier League to get a result.
"But this means of course that home form, home records, home points are crucial in the Premier League and I think the players have done this so far.
"We want to make sure this continues but it is important as well to get as many points as possible away from home on the board."
With 12 points from their first ten games, Wagner believes his side have already made an impression in their first top flight season since 1972.
"To be honest I never had real expectations because I had no experience," he added. "I hoped that we would be in and around the area we are at the minute and I hoped we would collect the points we have collected so far. This is why I think we can say we have arrived in the Premier League.
"We have shown we are competitive in the Premier League, but it is another game, another chance, a great chance, for us in front of our home supporters and we will do everything to be successful on Saturday against West Brom."
