Teenagers given chance to shine with Os

Leyton Orient teenagers Jake Argent, Harry Beautyman and Josh Millwood have been offered professional contracts. Striker Argent and midfielder Beautyman, both 18, have been handed six-month deals. Defender Millwood, also 18, has been given a short-term deal with a view to earning a longer contract when the Os return for pre-season training. "Harry, Jake and Josh have worked very hard to get into this position," said youth boss Andy Edwards. "It's an opportunity for them to prove their worth to the manager and now they will be looking to take the next step, which is pushing on towards the first team." The club are releasing youngsters Jack Giddens, Ryan Nelson, Elliott Babbs, Musa Manneh, Joseph Boakye and Louis Crowther.
