Brighton have completed the signing of Dagenham and Redbridge star Romain Vincelot.
As revealed by skysports.com earlier this week, Brighton were poised to sign the Frenchman.
Vincelot has signed a two-year deal at the AMEX Stadium after agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.
Trialist
Meanwhile, Brighton boss Gus Poyet has revealed he is weighing up a move for French trialist Loic Damour.
The Strasbourg midfielder impressed in Friday's friendly win over Whitehawk and Poyet is considering offering him a deal at the Championship new boys.
"Loic is a player we were looking at last year. He was under contract with Strasbourg but they are struggling financially and we've had the chance to have him for a few days," said Poyet.
"He showed his passing ability. He is a very, very interesting player, so we need to have chat with Tano (assistant Mauricio Taricco), the chairman and company and see if he is the right option for us and whether we are right for him as well."
