Cherries let Pryce leave

Teenage keeper Ryan Pryce has left Bournemouth after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.

Keeper's contract cancelled just weeks after signing new deal

Teenage goalkeeper Ryan Pryce has left Bournemouth after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent. Pryce made just two first-team appearances for the Cherries last season and had feared for his future at Dean Court when his contract was due to expire in the summer. However, the keeper was rewarded with a new one-year deal by manager Eddie Howe and has been providing the back-up to regular No.1 Shwan Jalal. Yet just weeks after agreeing to stay with the League Two club, Pryce has now left after coming to an agreement over the remainder of his contract. The 19-year-old's departure means Bournemouth boss Howe will turn to rookie shot-stopper Dan Thomas to provide the cover for Jalal for Saturday's game at Torquay United.
