Brighton beat
Exeter 3-0 to record their fourth straight win and stretch their unbeaten run to 11 league games.
Adam El-Abd claimed a seventh-minute opener for the hosts before Barnes, 21 this month, converted a penalty on the half-hour and claimed his seventh of the season late on.
Another in-form youngster impressed as Alex Chamberlain bagged a brace in

The 17-year-old midfielder scored an 11th-minute opener before claiming his third in three games in the 37th minute, and second-half strikes by Lee Barnard and Jose Fonte secured victory as the resurgent Saints climbed into the top six for the first time this season.
Huddersfield remain second after winning 2-0 in their Yorkshire derby away to
Sheffield Wednesday, Graham Carey and Anthony Pilkington scoring in the first half.
Colchester come back to stay third
Colchester stayed in third place as they came from behind to win 3-2 at home to
Leyton Orient.
Orient led 2-0 inside 18 minutes after an early brace by Alex Revell, but Matt Heath soon pulled one back and Dave Mooney levelled with a 32nd-minute penalty before Brian Wilson claimed an 80th-minute winner.
Peterborough moved into fourth after a 3-1 win at
Walsall with early Ryan Bennett and Arron Davies efforts having put them in charge.
Although Julian Gray pulled one back in the 53rd minute, Posh defender Kelvin Langmead struck just two minutes later to secure victory.

Wright-Phillips tops scoring charts
