Rotherham have agreed a deal to re-sign Paul Warne, but Mark Burchill has left the League Two club.

But Burchill moved on by League Two club

Rotherham United have agreed a deal to re-sign Paul Warne, but Mark Burchill has left the League Two club. Warne has spent the past two seasons with Yeovil, but recently left Huish Park after failing to agree a new contract. He has been training with Rotherham in pre-season and has accepted a one-year contract to return to the club where he previously spent six years. The 36-year-old's deal will officially start on 1st August and the Millers are happy to see the evergreen attacker rejoin the club. "We have today agreed terms with Paul and he will officially become a Miller again on August 1st," Rotherham's chief operating officer Paul Douglas told the club's official website. "Paul played a massive role for the club during a very successful first spell and we are hoping for more of the same second time around." However, Warne's arrival coincides with the exit of striker Burchill, who scored just five goals in 28 games last season after joining from Dunfermline. Burchill's contract has been cancelled by mutual consent and he is now free to find another club.
