Millers boss leaves door open after midfielder's return from loan

Ronnie Moore says it is down to Jason Taylor to prove he can have a future at Rotherham United next season. Taylor, who joined the Millers in January 2009, spent time on loan at Rochdale last season after failing to nail down a regular spot in the side. But Millers boss Moore has revealed that Taylor will report back for pre-season training and could still have a future at the League Two club. "Jason will be back here and will be involved in pre-season," Moore told the club's official website. "He is a strong midfield player who helped Rochdale to promotion last season, so he will come back and then we will take it from there. "The door is certainly open for Jason, so it is up to him. I haven't seen him since last year because he went away with Rochdale at the end of the year but he will be back with everyone else for the start of pre-season and it'll be down to him. "If he wants to stay here then he will need to knuckle down, work hard and try to get back into the side."
