Brentford have signed Luke Daniels on a free transfer from Scunthorpe United.
The 29-year-old had a medical over the weekend, and put pen to paper on a three-year contract.
Brentford head coach Dean Smith said: "We have been looking to provide competition in all areas of the pitch and the signing of Luke will certainly give us this in the goalkeeper department."
The former England youth player began his professional career at West Brom in 2006, before a series of loan spells, and Smith feels they have got the strength in depth to compete.
He added: "His signing - with having Dan Bentley and Jack Bonham on the books - will give us one of the strongest goalkeeper departments in the league."
Daniels will link up with the the Bees at the start of pre-season next month and the deal could now see Bonham head out on loan.
