Portsmouth manager Paul Cook and Plymouth coach Paul Wotton have both been fined £500 by the Football Association after admitting to charges of misconduct.
The charges relate to a heated exchange between Cook and Wotton during the first leg of last Thursday's Sky Bet League 2 play-off semi-final at Fratton Park, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
An FA statement read: "Pompey manager Paul Cook and Plymouth coach Paul Wotton have both been fined £500 after they admitted an FA misconduct charge following their fixture on May 12, 2016.
"It was alleged that in or around the 11th minute of the fixture, both used improper language and/or behaviour.
"The fine, which they accepted, was the standard penalty for the offence."
Plymouth secured a date at Wembley in the play-off final after Peter Hartley's stoppage-time goal in Sunday's return leg clinched them a 3-2 aggregate win.
