Plymouth have signed midfielder Connor Smith from AFC Wimbledon, subject to a medical.
Smith, 23, who helped the Dons beat Plymouth in last month's Sky Bet League Two play-off final, was out of contract and will officially join on July 1.
"Wembley heart-breaker Connor Smith has become Derek Adams' latest recruit of the summer," Plymouth said on their official website.
"The former Republic of Ireland youth international will join Argyle on July 1, subject to a medical, less than five weeks after helping AFC Wimbledon deny the Pilgrims promotion by beating them in the play-off final."
Smith progressed through Watford's academy and made his first-team debut for the club in 2012. Following loan spells at Gillingham and Stevenage he left Vicarage Road in January to join Wimbledon on a short-term deal until the end of last season.
