Midfielder signs one-year contract extension

MK Dons midfielder Alan Navarro has put pen-to-paper on a one-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2009. Navarro joined The Dons from Macclesfield in August and has made 13 League Two starts since his switch. The 26-year-old, who netted his first goal for the club in the 5-0 thrashing of Accrington Stanley last Saturday, has spoken of his delight at how he has settled in at stadium:mk. "You can tell by the way I've been playing that I have settled well here, it's a great place to be and I'm just loving my football at the minute," he told the club's official website. "The gaffer has played a big part in that and this where I want to be. I want to be part of what's happening at this club."
