Winger out for another six weeks with ankle injury

Accrington Stanley winger Chris Turner has been ruled out for a further six weeks due to an ankle injury. Turner has not played for the League Two club since mid-October after suffering torn ankle ligaments in the 1-0 defeat by Bournemouth. He will now be sidelined until the end of December and the setback leaves Accrington boss John Coleman with only 14 fit senior players at his disposal ahead of Saturday's trip to Bradford. Teenage wide man Turner has made 11 appearances for Accrington this season after agreeing a new deal with the club in the summer.
