Chesterfield and Swindon keen on Yeovil defender

Skysports.com understands Yeovil defender Stefan Stam has been told he can leave the club on loan. Stam has not been involved much for the Glovers during the early part of the campaign and manager Terry Skiverton is prepared to send him out for more regular football. The Dutchman has plenty of experience at the age of 31 and it is believed that he is already attracting interest. Chesterfield and Swindon are thought to have enquired about his availability and could now step up their interest. Stam started his career in Holland before joining Oldham in 2003 and then moving to Huish Park last summer.
