Peterborough striker Luke James has returned to Hartlepool on loan until the end of the season.

James, 21, spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Bradford but has sealed a move back to his first club.

"Luke James has completed his return to Victoria Park after Pools sealed a deadline day loan move for the Peterborough United frontman," Pools announced on their official website.

James made the first-team breakthrough at Hartlepool as a 17-year-old after progressing through the club's youth system.
