With snow hitting much of Britain, skysports.com runs through any postponements this weekend. The biggest clash to fall victim is Sunday's ALBA Challenge Cup Final in Scotland between Queen of South and Ross County. The match due to be played at St Johnstone, has been called off for safety reasons. Also Airdrie's Scottish Cup third round replay at non-league Beith fell victim to the weather. Beith's Bellsdale Park failed a 9.30am pitch inspection despite the Ayrshire club bringing in pitch covers earlier in the week. The match, which was one of the few to go ahead despite the referees strike in Scotland this weekend was due to be refereed by officials from Malta. The postponement may now solve a problem for the SFA after Portuguese match officials returned home shortly after arriving in Glasgow. The match at Beith followed the postponements of Annan Athletic v Brechin and Threave Rovers v Stenhousemuir. In England, the FA Cup was also hit Yeovil Town trip to Hartlepool failed to beat the weather, along with Notts County's clash with Bournemouth. Gateshead's Conference clash with Kettering following on from the earlier postponement of Barrow v Kidderminster. However, there are a number of matches in doubt and stayed tuned for all the latest news.
