Goalkeeper Ross Etheridge has become Doncaster's fourth signing of the close season.
The 21-year-old will join the club from Sky Bet League Two rivals Accrington on July 1.
Etheridge had been offered a new deal by Stanley but has opted to switch to Rovers, with Accrington entitled to compensation as he is under 24.
Rovers manager Darren Ferguson told the official website: "He was very good for Accrington, helping to get them into the play-offs.
"Ross has loads of potential, he is a good size and a good kicker of the ball.
"He has loads of improvement in him so we are delighted to get him on board for next season.
"It is important we get players who understand the league and players who are real quality in the league and Ross ticks that box."
