Hamilton's Gary Woods had a moment to forget as he somehow managed to flap Josh Windass' shot into his own net to give Rangers a 2-1 lead on Sunday.

In an eventful game at New Douglas Park, there were five goals in the opening 27 minutes, including Windass' second goal.

Hamilton took the lead through Darren Lyon in the fifth minute before Jamie Murphy (10) steered Alfredo Morelos' pull-back into the net to draw Ranger level.

And they were in front nine minutes later thanks to Woods' gift as the goalkeeper parried Windass' speculative shot from the edge of the penalty are into his own net.

Windass went on to score a hat-trick as Rangers beat Hamilton 5-3 to move into second place in the Scottish Premiership table on goal difference.
