Italian keen to quit Celtic and return home

Celtic's forgotten man Massimo Donati has confirmed he remains keen to quit The Bhoys this summer. The former AC Milan midfielder made just four SPL appearances last season after falling out of favour under Gordon Strachan. Despite Tony Mowbray's arrival at Parkhead the Italian has stated he still wants to return home and has invited interested parties to open negotiations with Celtic. The likes of Napoli, Palermo and Genoa have all been linked with moves for the 28-year-old, although he will not be getting excited until an offer is accepted.

Bids wanted

"I hope one of the club interested in me comes up with something soon," stated Donati. "I heard Napoli want to sign me but it seems right now that every day I could be destined for another city like Palermo or Genoa. "I'm pleased if these clubs rate me as a player, but I need an offer on the table before I can think about things seriously. "Hopefully, something will definite will happen soon."
