Austrian set to make Jambos move
Hearts are set to complete the signing of Austrian striker David Witteveen in the near future, according to the player's agent.
The 25-year-old is currently available on a free transfer after leaving Red Bull Salzburg and, despite interest from Italy, Germany and Holland, agent Christoph Wortmann has confirmed he is set to complete a move to Tynecastle.
"He will speak with Hearts today (Thursday), but we are clear with them - everything is okay," he told the
Edinburgh Evening News.
"We have agreed with Hearts and David will complete everything now."
Templeton out
Meanwhile, the club have revealed that striker David Templeton could be sidelined for 10 weeks after breaking his foot.
The 20-year-old, who made his first-team debut last season, had surgery on Wednesday and will now miss the pre-season tour of Germany.
Boss Csaba Laszlo told the club's
official website: "This is very disappointing for the player.
"It happened in training before Germany and he has now had an operation and we will wait to see how things go with him."
