Celtic defender Gary Caldwell admits his long-term future is yet to be decided as he awaits a new contract offer from the club.
The 27-year-old Scot has just one year remaining on his current deal, but a change in management at Parkhead this summer has disrupted talks between both parties.
Former West Brom boss Tony Mowbray took over the reins from Gordon Strachan last month and although the pair previously worked together at Hibernian, no agreement has been reached.
"It's outwith my hands. I just play football as best I can and the only other thing I can say is that, as far as I know, nothing has been settled as yet," Caldwell told the
Daily Record.
The Bhoys face Russian side Dynamo Moscow in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday and defeat is unthinkable for a club who rely on the competition as their main source of revenue.
However, Caldwell is in buoyant mood after the club's Wembley Cup success at the weekend and feels the team can take their fine pre-season form into their first competitive game of the season.
"This summer it's a case of so far, so good. It's the manner of our performances that matter more than the results," he said.
"We've been getting about teams and passing the ball the way we like. But the truth is none of that counts until you assess yourself under competitive conditions.
"We haven't all that much about Dynamo so far. The manager's been to see them and studied videos of them in action. He'll give us all the information we need over the next couple of days."
