Leeds still holding talks with Cardiff ace

Leeds United manager Simon Grayson has confirmed talks with Cardiff striker Ross McCormack are ongoing. The Whites agreed a fee with Championship rivals Cardiff for the Scotland international's services earlier this week. Grayson says personal terms are yet to be agreed with the 24-year-old, who still needs to undertake a medical with Leeds. The Leeds boss is against putting a timescale on McCormack's possible arrival, stating all will be revealed if and when he signs. "We're talking to the player's representative," Grayson told the club's official website.

"The talks are ongoing and are progressing. He hasn't had a medical yet, there are other things to be agreed first. "I don't like talking about things like this publicly and I don't put timescales on things like this either. Everyone knows that's how I prefer to do things." Leeds have also been linked with Gavin Rae but Grayson insists they have only made an enquiry and that nothing has been agreed. "I was speaking to Dave Jones about Ross McCormack and I asked him about Gavin Rae," he continued. "That's as far as it's gone at this moment time."
