Rangers' Andy Halliday was lucky to remain on the pitch after a horror tackle on Celtic's Patrick Roberts in the Glasgow derby on Sunday.
Just three minutes into the Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden Park, which Celtic won 2-0, Halliday made his presence felt as he sprinted into a heavy challenge on Manchester City loanee Roberts.
Referee Willie Collum only gave the midfielder a yellow card for the challenge, but replays suggest the tackle deserved more than a booking.
Halliday was substituted by Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha at half-time for Barrie McKay.
The win for Celtic meant they booked their place in the Scottish Cup final. Callum McGregor's 11th-minute strike set the dominant Scottish champions on course for victory, before Scott Sinclair's 51st-minute penalty sealed a final spot against Aberdeen on May 27.
It was also Celtic's first Scottish Cup semi-final triumph over their Glasgow rivals since 1925 and moved Brendan Rodgers' men a step closer to their first domestic treble since 2001, with the title and League Cup already secured.
