Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes could be short of options up front when he takes his side to Celtic next Sunday.
The Dons will travel to Parkhead with ambitions of delaying confirmation of Celtic's fifth consecutive Scottish Premiership title, but McInnes has concerns over Simon Church and Adam Rooney with both facing the prospect of missing the rest of the season.
The pair were forced off during Saturday's 4-1 win over Pittodrie, Rooney replacing Church in the 44th minute before having to be substituted himself with nine minutes remaining on his return from a thigh injury.
Rooney scored Aberdeen's third goal in the 54th minute - on his 100th appearance for the club - as the Dons prevailed to sit nine points behind Celtic with three games remaining, although the Hoops' vastly-superior goal difference means they are certain to be crowned champions.
McInnes said: "Adam felt his thigh tighten up, so hopefully we got him off in time. If we have to rest him between now and the end of the season to make sure he's fit for the European qualifiers, then that's what we'll do.
"It's important, with the injury to Simon Church, that we don't make a bad decision on Adam. Hopefully it's nothing too serious for either boy, but I'd have to say they'll be doubtful now for the rest of the season."
