Juanma has completed his move from Hearts to Japanese club V-Varen Nagasaki while two former team-mates are off to the Africa Cup of Nations.

The 26-year-old striker has been on loan at UCAM Murcia since August, playing in the second tier of Spanish football.

The Valencia-born player moved to Edinburgh in June 2015, scoring 13 goals in all competitions last season.

Hearts will also be two players light from their squad because of Africa Cup of Nations calls.

Left-back Faycal Rherras has been called up to Morocco's squad for the upcoming tournament in Gabon.
