Falkirk boss believes Higginbotham will be a crowd pleaser

Falkirk have agreed a two-year deal with young Rochdale winger Kallum Higginbotham. The 21-year-old helped Dale to promotion from League Two last season but his contract expires this summer. The exciting wide-man has now agreed terms with Falkirk and will join the Bairns on 1st July, subject to a medical. Higginbotham began his career with Dale in 2007, spending two loan spells with Accrington during the 2008/09 season, and he has already made almost 100 first-team appearances. Falkirk are determined to bounce straight back up to the Scottish Premier League after finishing bottom last season and Higginbotham is set to play a big part in their plans. "Kallum is a very exciting attacking player with a good level of experience for one so young," said manager Steven Pressley.

"We are delighted to have secured his services as he was a player we had watched and admired over the course of last season. "He very much fits the DNA in the particular role that he will play. His style of play is one which should certainly make him a firm favourite with the Falkirk supporters." Higginbotham is set to undergo a medical and be presented to the press on Monday.
