Police have appealed for images and video footage of the pitch invasion that marred Hibernian's long-awaited Scottish Cup success at Hampden Park on Saturday.

Eleven arrests have since been made for minor offences, but more are expected and police want anyone with information to come forward.

Hibs supporters took to the field to celebrate their first Scottish Cup win in more than 100 years after seeing their side score two late goals to beat Rangers 3-2

Some jumped onto a crossbar while police - many on horses - came onto the field.

Police kept the fans mainly in one half of the arena before slowly clearing the playing surface ahead of the trophy presentation.

Chief Superintendent Kenny MacDonald said: "An investigation team has now been established at Helen Street Police Office. So far, there have been 11 arrests for minor offences.

"Officers are in the process of collecting CCTV footage and collating the information that has been gathered at this stage as they try to identify those responsible for the disorder and violence on the pitch.
