Rivalry Weekend is coming to Sky Sports featuring some of the UK's biggest footballing rivalries, including Hibernian v Hearts and Rangers v Celtic.
Rivalry Weekend kicks off in Edinburgh as Hibernian host Hearts, live on Sky Sports Football, with honours even between the two sides this season across three meetings.
Each team has recorded a 1-0 victory over the other - Hibs winning in the Scottish Premiership and Hearts in the Scottish Cup in January - with a 0-0 draw also coming in the league.
Although just one place separates the Edinburgh rivals, Neil Lennon's side lead the way by nine points with Friday's game the perfect chance for Craig Levein's men to close the gap and secure bragging rights.
Ahead of the clash, former Hibernian striker Andy Walker previews the game at Easter Road...
WALKER SAYS: "This game has the same passion, the same intensity as the Old Firm derby. It also means as much to the supporters of Hibs and Hearts.
"I loved the intensity of this fixture. This game, being at Easter Road, perhaps Hibs are slight favourites given Hearts' recent poor form.
"They lost a big game in the cup last weekend against Motherwell and there is always a bit of spice and a bit of edge to this game, especially after Craig Levein's comments after the last game."
WALKER SAYS: "Whatever you think of Levein's comments about the natural order after his side's win the last time these two sides met in the Scottish Cup, factually he was correct.
"Ever since I played football in the mid-'80s, Hearts have been the dominant side in this fixture. When you look at the more recent record, Hibs have shown under Neil Lennon they got a really strong side, a really powerful side and they definitely win this fixture.
"Hearts won the cup fixture of course and that's when Levein started to think the natural order was back in place but when you look at this season, Hibs have come up from the Championship and they are the promoted side.
"They are doing a lot better than Hearts, who are feeling a bit sore."
WALKER SAYS: "Before the cup tie between these two sides Hibs were the dominant force in this fixture. They had shown they had Hearts' number and they will be keen make Levein eat his words."
"As you are well aware, this is a fixture similar to that of the Old Firm derby in that it can go either way. That's why I'm looking forward to it so much. It's been sold out for a number of months and there will be a fabulous atmosphere."
"It's one I'm really looking forward to."
Watch Hibernian v hearts as part of Rivalry Weekend, live on Sky Sports Football from 7.30pm on Sunday.
