Sunderland have signed former Hibernian and Celtic midfielder Dylan McGeouch.
He was a free agent after his deal expired with Hibernian at the end of last season.
The 25-year-old made 20 appearances for Celtic before joining the Easter Road side in 2014 - initially on loan, then signing permanently in August 2015.
He was part of the Hibernian team who won the Scottish Cup in May 2016, ending the club's 114-year wait for the trophy.
Sunderland manager Jack Ross said "Dylan has been really good for Hibernian and that's culminated in him earning international recognition.
"There were a lot of teams interested in him because he's at a good stage in his career and he's absolutely desperate to come down to England and show people how good a player he is.
"The fans will like him because he's got a lot of quality."
