Football matches in France will go ahead this weekend as scheduled, despite concerns over security in the wake of the atrocities in Paris.
There was speculation matches would be postponed following last Friday's attacks in the French capital which claimed 129 lives.
However, French sports minister Thierry Braillard confirmed Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 games would be played.
"We have to continue living our lives," he said. "Everyone is going to have to get into the frame of mind that life goes on.
"I think that right now we need reassurance."
Nice will kick off this weekend's round of matches when they play Lyon on Friday, while champions Paris Saint-Germain are away to Lorient on Saturday.
