Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and Manchester United's Jose Mourinho feature on a six-man shortlist of possible candidates to replace Unai Emery at Paris Saint-Germain. The Spaniard failed to win the Ligue 1 title last season and has been under pressure recently following reports of a breakdown in his relationship with Neymar. (Paris United)

Manchester United winger Anthony Martial will be included in the France squad on Thursday ahead of their friendlies against Wales and Germany. The 21-year-old Barcelona transfer target was left out of the last Les Bleus squad by Didier Deschamps for their recent World Cup Qualifiers against Belarus and Bulgaria, with the manager saying the former Monaco star needed to improve before being selected. Inter Milan are set to make a bid for PSG playmaker Javier Pastore in January. The midfielder has fallen down the pecking order in Paris following Julian Draxler's arrival and is open to moving to Italy. PSG may be willing to sell the Argentine but would want winger Joao Mario in return. (Tuttosport)

Juventus are unhappy with Paulo Dybala after the Argentine threw his shinpads in frustration when he was substituted during Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Sporting Lisbon. Dybala's form has dipped following a scintillating start to the season and it is not the first time he has reacted angrily to being replaced. (Tuttosport)

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola showered Napoli with praise after his side beat them 4-2 in a thrilling Champions League game at the Stadio San Paolo on Wednesday, calling Napoli "perhaps the greatest side" he has ever faced in his career. (La Gazzetta dello Sport)

Atletico Madrid defender Jose Maria Gimenez may be set for an exit, with Inter, Juventus and Manchester City all interested. Gimenez is out of contract at the end of the season and Atleti would let him leave on a cut-price deal to avoid letting him leave for free in the summer. Inter are keen to bolster their defence with a centre-half and may be able to offer the 22-year-old a guarantee of starting football. (Football Espana)

Barcelona are tracking three defenders, with Inter's Milan Skriniar, Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly and Dayot Upamecano of RB Leipzig all on their radar. Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has talked up a possible move for Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka. The 22-year-old has emerged as a Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Chelsea transfer target after a string of impressive performances for his current club. "Leon is a fantastic player," Ter Stegen said."What I've seen of him in the national team is extraordinary and remarkable. I also think he will get better in the future". (Waz)
