Nice defender Onyekachi Apam has extended his contract until 2013 but admits he 'dreams' of playing in the Premier League.
The Nigeria international has been rumoured to be a target of Marseille and Lyon, but has put pen-to-paper on a new deal at Stade Symphorien.
Apam is now tied to Nice for the next five years, however the 21-year-old confesses that his long-term aim is to secure a move to England.
"I am happy to prolong my stay at Nice," Apam told skysports.com. "The club is in a good condition.
"I have been linked with two of the biggest clubs in France - Marseille and Lyon - but I am 21 and still learning my profession.
"My dream is to stay in France and then one day move to the Premier League. I have always dreamt of playing in the Premier League.
"You never know, but at the moment Nice is the place for me."
