Eric Abidal has urged former Lyon team-mate Karim Benzema to join him at Barcelona.
Benzema is one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe following his goalscoring exploits for Lyon over the last few seasons.
The French international impressed in the recent UEFA Champions League meeting between the two sides and Abidal admits he would like to see Benzema move to Camp Nou.
"I really hope that he will move to Barcelona," Abidal told RMC.
"Then, everything depends on his decision.
"But the truth is that he is achieving outstanding things with Lyon, especially at his age."
