Full-back signs five-year deal with French side

Lyon have completed the signing of French full-back Aly Cissokho from Porto after the clubs agreed a fee of €15million (£13million). The talented 21-year-old looked on course for a move to AC Milan earlier in the summer before a problem with his medical scuppered the move. French giants Lyon have completed their own examination of Cissokho and discovered no problems to prevent the deal going through. Cissokho, who caught the eye during Porto's UEFA Champions League quarter-final clash against Manchester United, has now put pen-to-paper on a five-year deal. He becomes Lyon's third signing of the summer, following in the footsteps of Porto team-mate Lisandro Lopez and midfielder Michel Bastos from Lille. A statement on Lyon's official website read: "After successfully passing his medical examination in Porto with doctor Emmanuel Orhant, the 21-year-old left-back signed a five-year deal."
