It's one of the highlights of the summer for football fans - poring over the new season's kits.

A host of Premier League sides have unveiled their latest offerings and some big hitters across Europe have followed suit.

From tweaks to old favourites to more radical changes, here's what the likes of Thiago Silva, Marco Reus and Thomas Muller will be wearing next term.

Let us know what you make of the new kits in the comments section if you're reading on a desktop site, or on Twitter @SkyFootball.

For the 2016/17 season, Barcelona will be wearing a new Nike kit that features the club's classic broad vertical red and blue stripes.

The club say: "Thinner tonal stripes taper near the hem in a style that honours the model worn by the team in the 1991/92 season, when the club won its first-ever European Cup at Wembley."

"Un Crit'" and "Valent," which together mean "Our Cry is Bold" in Catalan, adorn the right and left cuffs, drawn from the club's official fan anthem "Cant del Barca".

BAYERN MUNICH

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are set to unveil their new home jersey for the 2016/2017 season at their Bundesliga match against Hannover 96 at the Allianz Arena on May 14.

The new kit features the traditional club colours of red and white but, for the first time, manufacturer adidas has placed its famous three stripes on the side of the jersey instead of the sleeves.

Bayern's motto "Mia san mia" is printed on the collar.

As well as the red jersey, Munch's players will wear white shorts and red-and-white socks.

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN

PSG

Paris Saint-Germain will wear a new Nike Vapor home kit with Aeroswift technology next season.

The shirt's body boasts traditional PSG blue with a modern V-neck collar, while its signature center stripe is broader and formed by a collection of red pinstripes bordered on either side by a white stripe.

"Paris" is knitted into the back collar, which also features an original woven signature stripe.

"Grandeur" and "Passion", two of the club's core values, adorn the inside cuffs and are also represented by the home palette: blue for grandeur and red for passion.

The sides of the kit feature a blue stripe detail that runs the length of the shirt and down the matching blue shorts and the new home socks are blue with a distinctive red linear graphic on the calf.

"This new Paris Saint-Germain home kit looks modern yet respects the history and culture of our club. The first time I tried the new kit on I felt confident, proud and ready to play," said midfielder Blaise Matuidi.

JUVENTUS

Paul Pogba and Alvaro Morata have both been linked with moves away from Juventus this summer, but here they are modelling next season's kit. Does that mean anything?

Probably not. However, the Serie A champions have made changes with their home strip for next season.

The second kit designed by adidas features wider stripes with a thin white line running down the middle of them. Apparently the new design 'interprets the spirit of Juventus in a more innovative way, while remaining loyal to the club's traditions'.

BORUSSIA DORTMUND

Borussia Dortmund

Puma has revealed Borussia Dortmund's home kit for the 2016/17 season, inspired by the motto "Pure Emotion".

In traditional yellow, the shirt has a fashionable look through its dynamic black block stripe design and the modern round-neck collar completes the look.

Additional details include the embroidered club emblem, the PUMA Cat logo, as well as the jersey sponsor displayed on the front. The "DORTMUND" lettering is emblazoned on the rear.

"I think what PUMA has developed is absolutely fantastic, I am a big fan of the design with the stripes," said forward Marco Reus.

"I have also talked to some of the boys from the team and they are all very happy with the jersey. We are looking forward to the new season and we will give everything we can."

The new kit made its debut in Dortmund's final home game of the season against FC Koln.

AC MILAN

"Our colors are red, because we're going to be a team of devils, and black, like the fear our opponents will feel."

Does anything else need to be said about AC Milan's kit for the 2016/17 season? As creator Herbert Kilpin implied, the famous red and black stripes remain, although a new feature is the fade to black at the bottom.

The crest returns after a two-year absence while the adidas stripes are in grey to give "greater uniformity". How much fear it will strike into opponents after a seventh-place finish in Serie A remains to be seen...

MARSEILLE

After a season of disappointment and frustration, Marseille must be hoping for a fresh start in 2016/17 with their new kit.

Modelled by Michy Batshuayi - the striker who may or not be at the Stade Velodrome beyond the summer - the most striking feature of the new strip is a sky blue cross on the front.

On the inside behind the back of the neck is the city's coat of arms in gold while the three adidas stripes run down the side.

The away kit is not as eye-catching, although the dark blue strip is set off by the silver features on the logos and the stripes.

AJAX

It's a new-look for Ajax away from home in 2016/17 as they will be wearing a dark blue number with three large Xs down the middle.

The XXX is not for style or sponsorship, but comes from Amsterdam's coat of arms. Modelled by Nemanja Gudelj (image from www.ajaxshop.nl), the dark blue of the main body of the shirt is contrasted with slightly lighter sleeves and much lighter blue shorts.
