Inter Milan scored two late goals to maintain their 100 per cent start to the Serie A campaign with a 2-0 triumph at Crotone.

Slovakia defender Milan Skriniar poked home from 12 yards after a goalmouth scramble eight minutes from time to set Luciano Spalletti's side on their way.

And Ivan Perisic sealed matters in stoppage time, cutting inside and fizzing a right-footed shot into the bottom-right corner to secure the Nerazzurri's fourth straight win this term.

Edin Dzeko scored twice as Roma made light work of struggling Hellas Verona in a 3-0 win despite a torrential downpour in the capital.

Radja Nainggolan beat the offside trap after linking up with Stephen El Shaarawy to slot in the opener from inside the 18-yard box in the 22nd minute before Dzeko headed in at the far post from Alessandro Florenzi's cross shortly after the half hour mark.

Roma dominated proceedings and after the break Aleksandr Kolarov went close with a curling free-kick from 20 metres out before he rolled in a low pass for Dzeko, who slid in his second and Roma's third.

Fiorentina leapfrogged mid-table Bologna in the early-season standings courtesy of a 2-1 derby dell'Appennino triumph.
