Danish midfielder willing to bide his time in Italy

Christian Poulsen insists he has no desire to secure a move away from Serie A giants Juventus. The Danish midfielder has endured a difficult debut season in Italy following a summer switch from Seville. He has found himself on the fringes of Claudio Ranieri's first-team plans for much of the season and has been left kicking his heels on the bench as a result. His lack of action saw him become the centre of much transfer talk during the January window, with a host of club's believed to be monitoring his availability. However, Poulsen declared that he had no interest in leaving Juve and has made it clear that his stance has not changed since that point. "It is always irritating not to play from the start, but you have to learn to accept that," he told Ekstra Bladet. "I have got to be professional in this situation and be ready when I get the chance."
