Inter Milan want to appoint Mauricio Pochettino as their new manager, according to Sky in Italy.
Sky in Italy understand Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio is flying to London this week to hold talks over a proposed move to bring the Tottenham boss to the San Siro.
The Serie A club can buy Pochettino out of his current contract by paying Tottenham £4.2m and are willing to offer him a deal worth £8.5m-a-year, according to Sky in Italy.
Pochettino refused to be drawn on speculation linking him with Inter last week and insisted he was fully focused on his job at Tottenham.
The Argentine is currently contracted to Tottenham until the summer of 2021 having signed fresh terms last May.
Inter sacked coach Stefano Pioli last week following five defeats in six games and have approached the representatives of Chelsea manager Antonio Conte and Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone.
Conte and Simeone have since made it clear they want to stay at their respective clubs.
