AC Milan are aiming to avoid the mistakes that saw them crash out of the last season's UEFA Champions League to Tottenham when they come up against Arsenal.
The Rossoneri do battle with Spurs' north London rivals on Wednesday in the first leg of their last-16 tie at the San Siro.
Milan were eliminated from last season's competition courtesy of Peter Crouch's goal on home soil before a goalless draw in the return leg at White Hart Lane.
Manager Massimiliano Allegri knows his charges will need to be at their best technically to see off the Gunners, while he also wants mistakes eradicating from their game.
Mistakes
"Technically we have to play well and know that there are certain errors [from last season against Tottenham] which ultimately should not be repeated," said Allegri.
"Last year we made one mistake late against Tottenham, (on Wednesday) we have great patience and (must be) careful, otherwise you complicate everything.
"In the second match against Tottenham, we deserved to win and go through."
Italians are renowned for their defending and Allegri has warned his team against complacency, highlighting their need to keep things tight at the back.
Attention
Allegri added: "We must make a lot of attention, especially in defence, but not just for this one game, it must be over 180 minutes.
"We need to have a game of great intensity, and we can't give them chances to counterattack because that is their strength.
"Arsenal are playing very well lately and are very dangerous in attack. And one of Arsenal's best qualities is their speed, especially if they have room enough.
"Robin van Persie and [Thierry] Henry are very dangerous players, so we have to be aware of them, but it is the team of Arsenal as a whole that is the most dangerous."
