German faces yet another setback

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Sebastian Kehl could face another operation to add to his long list of injury woes. The former Germany international joined Dortmund in 2002 but has yet to have an injury-free season, and has already ruled himself out of Saturday's Bundesliga clash with Bayern Munich. Kehl has had a long-standing groin problem, the 29-year-old needed surgery earlier in the summer, and Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp is worried he will have to go under the knife again. "It's just not getting any better. Sebastian is going from doctor to doctor without any results," he told Bild. "His surgeon is now going to check on the groin again and on Friday he will see another specialist. Hopefully we will know more after then." The midfielder has made 175 appearances in seven years for the German outfit and has won 31 caps for his country.
