Monchengladbach suffering after Bayern draw

Borussia Monchengladbach coach Michael Frontzeck has revealed that he has a number of fitness concerns after Saturday's dramatic draw with Bayern Munich. Monchengladbach, who currently sit bottom of the Bundesliga, appeared set to record a shock win against defending champions Bayern after expending all energy to come back from 2-1 down to lead 3-2. But Phillip Lahm equalised for Bayern in the 84th minute at the Stadion im Borussia-Park to leave the hosts devastated. And Frontzeck has admitted that opening goalscorer Patrick Herrmann and substitutes Igor de Camargo, Karim Matmour and Roel Brouwers were struggling. "Patrick Herrmann could hardly move yesterday (Saturday) and Igor de Camargo is not yet 100 per cent," Frontzeck told Monchengladbach's official website. "He sat out training today (Sunday) as well, as he's being treated with a series of injections. "Karim Matmour, for example, still needs match practice and Roel Brouwers was not completely free of pain, so he wasn't an option for the starting line-up."
