Poland international Sebastian Boenisch claims to have turned down a new contract offer at Werder Bremen.
The full-back is a free agent this summer and earlier in 2012 he was linked with a return to his homeland to join Polonia Warszaw.
Bremen were keen to keep the 25-year-old, who is a member of Poland's Euro 2012 squad, but they could not agree terms and a salary.
Boenisch told
kicker-Sportmagazin: "I have turned it (the offer from Bremen) down.
"I am now looking to start considering those other options that are available to me.
Busy summer
"I have received enquiries from other clubs. We will have to wait and see where I am going to be next season."
Bremen are expected to be busy this summer and they have already signed goalkeeper Richard Strebinger from relegated Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin.
Young goalkeeper Sebastian Mielitz has also signed a contract extension with Bremen in a period when shot-stopper Raphael Wolf moved to the club.
Meanwhile, defender Asssani Lukimya, formerly of newly-promoted Fortuna Dusseldorf, has arrived on a free transfer.
And rumours also continue to link Bremen with ex-Dusseldorf striker Thomas Broker and Brazil midfielder Sammir of Dynamo Zagreb.
