Bayern Munich failed to take full advantage of Hertha Berlin and Borussia Dortmund's 1-1 draw on Friday night as they drew their second Bundesliga game in a row on Saturday.

Eintracht Frankfurt became the first side to put two goals past Bayern since Carlo Ancelotti took charge in the summer, with Szabolcs Huszti and Marco Fabian making it a birthday to remember for their coach Niko Kovac.

Arjen Robben and Joshua Kimmich were on target for the visitors in a 2-2 draw at the Waldstadion, where Bayern extended their wait for a win to three games despite playing for over 25 minutes with an extra man after Huszti was sent off.

Cologne took full advantage of Bayern's latest slip-up by moving up to second in the standings, just two points behind the Bavarians, with a 2-1 win over Ingolstadt.

Anthony Modeste moved to the top of the Bundesliga scoring charts with both goals for the Goats - his sixth and seventh of the season.

A late penalty from Lukas Hinterseer was not enough to prevent Ingolstadt from going down to their sixth defeat in a row and slumping to the foot of the table as a result.

They dropped below Hamburg, who played over an hour of their game at Borussia Monchengladbach with 10 men after Cleber was sent off for giving away a penalty.
