Heerenveen have completed the signing of Philip Haglund while Patrik Ingelsten has left the Dutch club.
Haglund joins the Eredivisie outfit from IF Brommapojkarna until the summer of 2014 after the two clubs eventually agreed a fee in the region of 1 million Euros for the 22-year-old midfielder.
The Swede, who was recently called up for his national team, will be hoping for a better career in the Netherlands than compatriot Ingelsten, who has joined Viking Stavanger.
The striker was a hit in his homeland in the 2007-2008 season where was the top goalscorer in the Allsvenskan league but the 27-year-old has moved on to Norway as he looks to rebuild his career.
"It feels really good," Ingelsten told
Batometern on his move to Viking. "I think it's going to be a lift for me from a footballing side, but also socially for the family.
Another player looking to head though the exit door at Heerenveen is Milan Kopic after the Czech defender handed the club a transfer request.
The 24-year-old has yet to stake a claim in the Dutch outfit's starting XI, but it is believed manager Jan de Jonge sees potential in the former Czech Republic U21 performer and is hoping to loan him out instead.
