Ajax extended their gap at the top of the Eredivisie after winning 2-0 at PEC Zwolle on Sunday.

Amin Younes and Thulani Serero netted in each half for Ajax as they moved three points clear of Feyenoord, who had beaten Excelsior on Saturday.

PSV Eindhoven solidified their place in the top three as they beat AZ Alkmaar 3-0 at home.

A Derrick Luckassen own goal gave PSV the lead after just three minutes and Luuk de Jong added two more before half-time.

Luckassen was then dismissed on the hour mark after being shown a straight red card.

Elsewhere on Sunday, fourth-place Heracles were beaten 4-2 in a thriller at 10-man FC Utrecht.

Heracles took the lead through Iliass Bel Hassani on 40 minutes before Kevin Conboy was dismissed for the home side on the stroke of half-time for a second bookable offence.
