The Amsterdam club made a sound start to their title defence last Friday when they defeated Roda JC 3-0 at home, and it was also a good day for Fischer individually, with the 19-year-old netting the third goal.
The Denmark wide man will be looking to build on that on Sunday in Ajax's away clash with AZ Alkmaar, and regarding his style of play, Fischer told Voetbal International: "If I was just busy performing various tasks, then I would no longer be myself.
"Fortunately, this is not the case. The coach (De Boer) encourages me to use my specific qualities.
"I think Franck Ribery at Bayern Munich is a good example.
"He does a lot of work for his team, and then as soon as he comes into possession of the ball, you know he is going to make a decisive action - but you never know how he is going to do that.
"Also at Ajax, you have a role as a player within the collective, but outside that you need to be sure you are creative.
"That responsibility lies with myself and it is something that I find so beautiful.
"Our playing style requires a lot of running and drive, but I save enough breath for my offensive actions.
"I think if you get the combination right, it is beautiful."
Sunday's other games see Feyenoord host FC Twente, Vitesse Arnhem head to RKC Waalwijk and Utrecht play at FC Groningen, who won 4-1 at NEC Nijmegen in their campaign-opener last Saturday.
On Saturday, last season's runners-up PSV Eindhoven are at home against NEC, Heerenveen travel to NAC Breda, ADO Den Haag visit Go Ahead Eagles and Zwolle make the trip to Heracles.
Friday night's game is Cambuur at Roda JC.
